IWA International is excited to be able to offer this device to customers who wish to assemble the device by adding a primer to the fuse fly off lever assembly and then affixing this to the thermite canister.

The purchasers assemble this device. It is recommended that the device be assembled just prior to use and then used at the site of assembly. You must use the assembled devices in compliance with the applicable state and local regulations.

DESCRIPTION

Thermite Device is designed as a fly off lever canister that produces a thermite reaction and can reach extremely high temperature when ignited. The use of this product is intended for welding, metal cutting/boring and metal repairs. Not intended to be used as an offensive device against humans.

DANGER

• Do not fight the primary fire with water or fire extinguishers.

• Evacuate area and allow material to burn out.

• Conventional Firefighting methods will not work.

• Use dry sand to extinguish the fire.

• Burns fiercely once ignited, in excess of 4000°F (2200°C).

• Contact with water causes a violent reaction.

INSTRUCTIONS

• To be operated by adults only. Keep away from children.

• Wear personal protective equipment, eye protection, ear protection and gloves.

• Hold the device with the fly off lever in the palm of your hand.

• Release the safety clip and pull the safety pin, device is now live

• Place in desired area and retreat to the minimum safety distance of 15 Feet.

CAUTION

• For outdoor use only. If used incorrectly, this product may cause damage to property, serious bodily injury or death.

• Be aware of your surroundings before deploying this device.

STORAGE

• Keep this device in a container, stored in a cool and dry place that is well-ventilated, away from sources of heat/ignition and incompatible materials.

• Keep the container closed when not in use. 

• Store the thermite device separately from the ignition system, and attach the ignition system only immediately before use.
